Listen to music – it’s good for your brain. Oliver Sachs, author of Musicophilia, talks about how music is integral to our species. Much of the discussion is how music can heal – for example, people with memory loss or mobility issues from neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s seem to regain their faculties when singing or dancing.
Try listening to your favorite music – holiday or otherwise – and see if your mood changes.
