Every day can be a great day – even a Monday. It’s all in your attitude.
I’ll be the first to admit it – I didn’t always have a good attitude. In fact, it was downright rotten at times. But I learned that being in a bad mood wasn’t a lot of fun – and it didn’t feel good either.
Back then, I had more headaches and stomach aches. I got sick more often. And while a lot of that probably had to do with the way I was eating, I’m sure my sour outlook on life didn’t help.
So, how do you have a good day every day? Start by getting yourself in a good mood. The easiest way is to laugh or smile.
Smile even if you don’t feel like it. How do you feel when you do it? I’ll bet you start feeling better. Maybe your posture even improves as you look up more. Then you can see everything going on around you that’s great.
Laugh, too – even if it’s fake, it can still have a positive effect. Did you know that laughter helps improve blood flow and can reduce your risk of blood clots? It can also improve your immune system functioning, help regulate your blood sugar levels. Yes, all that just from laughing!
So get going – smile and laugh and have a great day. It will make you look and feel better, too.
